Town Council Work Session

Dec. 1

During Monday’s Town Council Work Session, the council discussed: a possible amendment to the Sagamore subdivision Planned Development; 88th Street/Campus Drive pedestrian safety; employee survey results; potentially enhancing security measures at Town facilities; Sundance Festival; 2026 Council priorities; 2026 Council meeting schedule; the See-Click-Fix process; and defining/revising the working relationship for the Cultural Arts and Public Spaces Advisory Committee.

Superior Youth Leadership Council Meeting

Dec. 3

At the December SYLC meeting, SYLC focused on redefining leadership roles, including updates to Communications, Outreach, and the Secretary position, and discussed creating an SYLC newsletter and communications calendar. SYLC also received updates on the Sock it to ‘Em donation campaign and planned the Feb. 14 Parents’ Night Out event, confirming volunteers and workgroup members. Additional updates covered the upcoming Metro Mayor Caucus meeting, the year’s fully used budget with a projected $5,000 for next year, and a shift in liaison roles before the meeting adjourned. This meeting was held virtually due to weather concerns that developed over the day.
