Construction on the Community Park Playground renovation will begin Monday, February 23. During construction, the playground area and the pavilion south of the playground will be closed. Restrooms connected to the pavilion will also be fenced off to ensure safety. Multi-use path access will be maintained on the north side of the playground. The east-side path will experience intermittent closures as materials and equipment move through the area. The project will create a 17,000-square-foot inclusive playground featuring accessible ramps, ADA swings, sensory play elements, towers, slides, a zipline, and parent-child swings. Construction is expected to be completed in May, with the new playground ready for summer. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this temporary disruption.
