July 16, 5 to 8 p.m.

Live Music: Ultralowfi

Ultralowfi Logo
Black and white image of the members of Ultralowfi.

Andy Howard, Johnny Lasker, and Tim Keegan first met in a Mexican boxing ring. They weren’t adversaries that fateful night; it was more about moshing than pugilism. What is really amazing is that Howard and Lasker ended up in the CU dorms together that fall and soon formed the band Claimjumper. Keegan was a frequent visitor to Boulder and the trio stayed close. When their friends started getting married, one incarnation or another of the trio played each wedding; it was almost impossible to get married without one of them accompanying you. When the last rose petal was swept away and all the bouquets were accounted for, Lasker moved back to Colorado and the band officially got back together. They recently added powerhouse drummer, Mark Lacis, into the mix and have beefed up their sound as they expand into all kinds of musical territories.

Live Music: Arthur Lee Land's - Twang is Dead REMix

A new take on good old Grateful Dead Songs - where Colorado Twang meets the Funk, remix culture, and live improvisation.

Lyons, Colorado–based Electro-Americana singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, producer, educator, and innovator in the Art of Live Looping, Arthur fuses roots music with cutting-edge technology by incorporating DJ-style live remixing into his solo sets with live-looping, house music grooves, African percussion samples and the unmistakable twang of his psychedelic 1955 B-Bender Fender Telecaster and live vocals.

Special Event: Fall Fest

Celebrate fall with a special "fall fest" edition of the Superior Summer Market!

Live Music: Jeff & Paige and Sweet Lillies

Jeff & Paige Logo

Jeff and Paige's exciting fun-filled concerts, albums, and nature and science activities are filled with love of the outdoors and ecology, bringing concepts like insect anatomy, energy conservation and plate tectonics to the whole family. Along with their live events and programming, Jeff & Paige make all their music available for free on streaming platforms, accompanied by educational music videos and activities. These resources empower parents and educators to engage kids in learning about nature and science from home.

Jeff and Paige's concerts and membership activities are instructive, but never preachy. And the messages are delivered in a playful manner with memorable musical hooks and hands on offerings that captivate children and adults alike.

Jeff & Paige posing dressed in colorful clothing with a bike and guitar.

The Sweet Lillies' music is, first and foremost, heartfelt and collaborative. Those defining traits are given life by the quartet of musicians who make up the Lillies. Together they have combined their individual strengths to deliver powerful narratives of life in song. With their lineup of guitar, viola, upright bass, drums and ethereal vocal harmonies that float like a dream, the Sweet Lillies' music has a hard hitting original flavor with a forward-looking eye. They have incorporated all of their cumulative life-experiences into their music, song-writing, and artistry, crafting an uncommonly-beautiful style they have christened “String-Americana” - a nod to the band’s all encompassing musical tastes and willingness to experiment with genres ranging from folk and rock all the way to hip-hop.
