2025 Chili & Beer Fest

The Town of Superior's annual Chili & Beer Fest has been a community staple for decades. Whether you're a seasoned festival veteran or this is your first time attending, here is our guide on attending the 2025 Chili & Beer Fest!

What to know:

 The Chili Fest portion of this festival is free and includes unlimited chili samples (while supplies last) and access to all festival entertainment and activities with available for purchase beer and seltzers at designated stations in the event. The Beer Fest portion of this festival will give you access to unlimited samples from our beverage vendors with an opportunity for a VIP package upgrade. Tickets can be bought online prior to arrival or onsite at the event.

Chili, beer and so much more!

Here are some highlights for activities you won't want to miss:

• Vote for your favorite chili. Use the QR codes posted around the event to help decide the winner of the People’s Choice Chili Cook Off!
• Visit one of the many food trucks. For those who don't love chili, there will be plenty of alternatives for purchase and sweet treats to top off your experience.
• Don't miss the live music! Wrenn Van Band will start playing shortly after the doors open and Hazel Miller and the Collective will close out the event!
• The kid's zone will have activities to entertain children of all ages for hours.
• Check out all of the booths! You will see businesses, organizations and Town booths all over the event. Make sure to stop by and say, “hello!”

How Do I Get There?

In an effort to promote sustainability at our events, we encourage everyone to walk, ride their bikes, or carpool to the Chili & Beer Fest. No bike valet will be provided this year, please bring your own lock.

If you need to drive, parking will be available at the northeast corner of McCaslin Blvd. and Coalton Road, and there will be a free shuttle to Community Park. The shuttle bus will run from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., making a round trip every 15 minutes.

Accessible parking will be available in the Community Park Parking Lot and will be marked with temporary signs.

Do not park in front of businesses near Community Park or the Safeway shopping center. Violators will be towed at the owner's expense. These parking lots are for customer use only.

Town of Superior's 2025 Chili & Beer Fest Tips

Just joining for chili and entertainment?
Use the west entrance and come on in, there is no admission fee. Single-serve beverages are available inside the event. 

Pre-Purchased Beer Fest or VIP tickets?
Follow the signs at the main ticket booth to redeem your ticket for an event wristband and souvenir Boulder Valley Beer Fest mug (both are required for Beer Fest sampling).

Need a Ticket day of?
You can purchase day-of tickets on-site at the main ticket booth for the Beer Fest and VIP Lounge, for $50 and $95 respectively, while tickets last.

Questions?
Visit a Town information tent located just inside the east field and on the west field. Get your questions answered and pick up a festival map detailing where to find the chili cooks and beer vendors. Purchase a festival t-shirt and grab some fun swag, including a limited supply of commemorative reusable chili spoons! You can also find the lost and found and first aid here, too.

Join the community for a day of delicious chili and fun with your neighbors and friends. There will be excitement for the whole family, including live music by the Wrenn Van Band and Hazel Miller and the Collective, games and activities for kids and adults, local vendors, and more!

People's Choice Chili Cook-off 

The People’s Choice competition features restaurants, food vendors and organizations (retirement communities, schools, commercial kitchens, etc.) competing with a wide variety of chili types. The winner will be determined by public vote during the event and announced at 5:30 p.m. Registration Deadline Aug. 22.

Music to keep you moving!

The festival stage will host live music throughout the afternoon!

TheWrenn Van Bandopens the event from 2-3:30 p.m., delivering a lively mix of original songs and crowd-pleasing covers with the kind of musicianship that makes you want to dance. Hazel Miller & The Collectivewill close out the day from 4-6 p.m. with a performance that promises to be unforgettable. Known throughout Colorado and beyond, Hazel Miller brings her signature blend of jazz, blues, R&B, and soul to the stage — each song infused with the band’s unmistakable energy and flair.

Even more food!

When the chili pots are empty, the food trucks roll in. Best Spuds, Freshly Laid, La Paisita, Spice Girls Global and Tacos y Tepas will be lined up and ready to offer a wide variety of dishes available for purchase — all cravings will be satiated! For those looking to cool down, Big Wheel Beverages will provide free snow cones for everyone, a perfect sweet treat for a sunny September afternoon.

Games, activities, and fun for all

The Chili & Beer Fest isn’t just about the food and drinks — it’s also about theactivitiesyou can enjoy along the way! Throughout the festival, you can take part in an array of games and activities designed for both adults and kids. Challenge your friends (or little ones) inbattle axes, soccer darts, an obstacle course, or simply enjoy watching the fun unfold as neighbors and friends compete and laugh together. With entertainment at every corner, there’s never a dull moment!

Due to lack of registration, Community Chili Cook-off has been cancelled.

Cool down with delicious brews at the Beer Fest

The Rotary Club of Boulder Valley once again hosts the Beer Fest portion of this year's event.

The Beer Fest includes beer, cider, non-alcoholic beverages and spirit sampling from 18+ Colorado-based vendors, including several hometown Superior favorites.

Free general entry to the Chili & Beer Fest includes unlimited chili samples while supplies last.

Beer Fest tickets can be purchased for $40 in advance or $50 at the door, if available. These tickets allow unlimited tastings (3ounce pours) from an array of beer, cider, wine and spirit vendors. And you'll take home a souvenir Boulder Valley Beer Fest glass mug!

Go VIP at Beer Fest! Hosted by the Superior Chamber of Commerce, your $85 VIP ticket gets you all the tasty sips of General Admission—and then some! Chill in the shaded lounge with tacos, rice & beans, a salsa bar, homemade chips, aguas frescas, Jarritos, nachos, and Modelo beer + micheladas. Snap pics in the photobooth, win Mexican candy, plus score fun prizes every 30 minutes. Enjoy full pours while you snack, sip, and relax. (21+ only) $95 day-of, if available.

Proceeds support the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley

In addition to sampling frosty brews, the Beer Fest offers a great opportunity to support the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley.

Last year, money raised at the Boulder Valley Beer Fest supported a variety of local efforts, including:

• The Dictionary Project, which distributes dictionaries and gazetteers to third-grade students in the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD)
• Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, which pay for a week of camp for 10 students in BVSD schools
• Scholarships for seniors graduating from BVSD high schools
• Mental health initiatives

We have time slots available at different stations and different times throughout the event, so whether you'd like to chip in for the full event or just a couple hours, we've got something for you.

Volunteer with the Chili Fest Green Team and receive a $100 gift card

Join us for a super spicy, fun-filled day and help support our Town's zero waste efforts as a member of the Green Team! Green Team volunteers will help by educating and guiding attendees on where to return reusables, and how to decide where trash, recycle and compost go.
